Libyan-Chinese Joint Commercial Chamber (LCJCC)

The Libyan-Chinese Joint Economic Chamber (LCJCC) was established by a decision of the Minister of Economy and Trade, in support of economic and investment ties between the State of Libya and the People’s Republic of China, and in implementation of the economic agreement concluded between the two friendly countries represented by the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Libya (CCPIT) and the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade (GLUCC), with the aim of developing economic relations and investment in all fields.

Objectives of the Libyan-Chinese Joint Economic Chamber

This initiative aims to strengthen trade, industrial and agricultural relations between the two countries, through the exchange of economic and investment information, and promote cooperation in various sectors. The objectives include supporting training and youth development, organising exhibitions and economic conferences to enhance communication between businessmen. It also seeks to resolve trade disputes through arbitration offices and provide counselling for the establishment of joint ventures. It also aims to establish specialised markets, support small and medium-sized enterprises, and facilitate trade transactions between the two countries.

The Libyan-Chinese Chamber of Economics for Cooperation was established by a decision of the Minister of Economy and Trade in order to support economic and investment ties between the State of Libya and the People’s Republic of China
