Chinese Embassy in Libya nears opening
The Chinese government is preparing to reopen its embassy in Tripoli within the next few days in a move that reflects China’s support for Libya’s stability and its readiness to expand the areas of political and economic cooperation between the two countries. The return of the Chinese diplomatic mission is a confirmation of the growing international confidence in the political and security environment in Libya, which opens wide horizons for joint investment and development projects that serve the interests of the two friendly peoples.
In this context, the Libyan-Chinese Joint Economic Chamber welcomes this positive initiative, emphasising that the reopening of the Chinese embassy represents a new start towards strengthening economic partnerships and opening wider horizons for trade and investment cooperation. The Chamber also affirms its full commitment to support efforts to deepen relations.
